The duo of Mr. Chainsaw and Take Lots With Alcohol back to back is probably the closest thing to a musical incarnation of my life.

It is for me too, because FHTI is…

As time has gone on, I think that the self-titled (with the exception of the “Exploding Boy” cover) is their best album. As far as “studio albums” are considered, From Here to Infirmary is their best. Goddamnit has some real killers, but it doesn’t end on as strong a note. FHTI has the better closer (which is probably Dan’s best song), and the great songs are better (if a little less aggressive). Maybe I’ll Catch Fire doesn’t really measure up. The clunkers on that one are pretty clunky. I feel a case could even be made for Good Mourning as Alk3’s best.
